Scale-up from miniplants
This contribution continues investigation into whether measurements obtained in mini plants are suitable for scaling up technological processes to the industrial scale or not. In examining this, first the fundamentals of scale-up are briefly introduced and discussed. It is shown which information is necessary for a reliable scale-up and to what extent this information can be derived from the conditions existing in mini plants.
