Saturated densities and critical properties of HFC-227ea
The vapor-liquid coexistence curve of HFC-227ea was measured in the temperature range from 326.56 K to the critical temperature. The critical temperature T-c = 375.040 +/- 0.005 K and critical density rho(c) = 590 +/- 5 kg m(-3) were determined on the basis of the critical opalescence phenomenon, and then the critical pressure P-c = 2930 +/- 1.5 kPa was extrapolated from vapor pressure equation proposed previously by authors. The saturated vapor densities of HFC-227ea were estimated by Virial equation combined with vapor pressure equation. The correlations of saturated vapor and liquid densities of HFC-227ea were developed on the basis of present work and literatures data. In addition, the correlation of saturated density in critical region was developed; the critical exponent beta and critical amplitude B were determined on the basis of the power law.
