Direct contact condensation in two adjacent Hiemenz stagnation-flow boundary layers is investigated numerically for the cases of saturated and superheated vapor on subcooled liquid. Resulting parametric studies provide detailed information on the importance of specific parameters and, more importantly, provide heat and mass transfer correlations. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd.
