Several existing hub platforms are in place in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) on the outer continental shelf (OCS) and in the deepwater trend. Third-party ownership of hub platforms is advancing. The anticipated effect of hub platforms on the deepwater production in the GOM is to enable production from otherwise marginally economic fields.
