Numerical simulation of contraction flow of a dilute polymer solution
Numerical results are presented for a contraction flow of a non-Newtonian fluid. In this work a new finite-volume algorithm was used and various non-Newtonian fluid models (with and without elasticity) were studied. The results are discussed and compared to experimental results obtained with a dilute polymer solution.
