Grill-in fluid for a sour-gas naturally fractured reservoir
A saturated-salt/synthetic-polymer drill-in fluid system with medium-coarse-grind CaCO3 provided good drilling performance as well as minimum formation damage in a high-temperature, sour-gas, naturally fractured formation. Drilling data and initial production from a well in the southwest Pannonian basin in Croatia verified the laboratory results.
