Shape evolution of metals electrodeposited from binary electrolytes
Metal electrodeposition from a binary electrolyte produces irregular deposits with diverse shapes. In this paper we review several aspects of this phenomenon. We particularly focus on in situ experimental techniques, modelisation of the deposition and growth mechanisms, and applications to the fabrication of submicrometer objects.
