Power-law flow past a cylinder at large distances
Derived in this paper is the behavior of the two-dimensional steady flow of a power-law fluid past a circular cylinder at large distances. An approximate far-field solution for a weakly non-Newtonian fluid has been constructed. Some numerical calculations to illustrate the impact of the proposed approximate solution are also included.
