Non-Arrhenius ionic conductivity in alpha-Agl-stabilized composites and rapid quenched glasses
The ionic conductivity of the alpha-AgI-stabilized composite and homogeneous glass of AgI-Ag2O-MoO3 system was measured in the temperature range from 100 to 340 K. The alpha-AgI-stabilized composite type-B shows the progressive change of activation energy at 273 K, which is attributed to the order-disorder transition in the alpha-AgI crystal. The conductivity of glass exhibits the bending in wide temperature range, which was analyzed by Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher equation. The calculated value is in excellent agreement with the experimental data. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier B.V.
