Potential Theory approach as a powerful tool in theoretical prediction of mixed-gas adsorption equilibria and their accompanying calorimetric effects
A simple and accurate method based on the Potential Theory approach for predicting mixed-gas adsorption equilibria is shown. The new procedure for predicting the accompanying enthalpic effects is presented. The study requires simple numerical calculations and offers a satisfactory agreement with the analysed experimental data. The calculation procedure can be used to control industrial gas separation by adsorption processes. (c) 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
