M-CFPBR의 막 오염인자에 관한 연구
A Study on the Membrane Fouling Factors of M-CFPBR
We investigated the filtration characteristics of the membrane by packing a waste lime support carrier in to the MBR process to improve the removal efficiency of phosphorous which is one of the nutrients that cause eutrophication and to minimize membrane fouling. Also, filtration performances of the membrane according to changes in air flow and support carrier volume fraction in the membrane coupled fixed phase biofilm reactor (M-CFPBR) process is compared. As the air flow rate increased under the same support carrier volume fraction of 20%, membrane filtration-time increased. As support carrier bolume fraction increased under the same air flow rate of 5 LPM, membrane filtration time increased, and significant changes were not found in a support carrier volume fraction of more than 20%. TMP according to time elapse reached 30 kPa within 160 h when the support carrier was not packed. However, as the support carrier volume fraction was increased from 10% to 20% and 30%, emebrane filtration time can be extended from 160 h to 280 h and 500 h respectively. Therefore, this result suggests that active air circulation between packed support carriers within a reactor is needed to mitigate membrane fouling and increase membrane filtration time.
