Synthesis of a New Cavitand Bearing Four Pyrazoyl Groups
Readily available calix[4]arene derivatives have been utilized as starting materials tor the synthesis of metal selective ionophores. Recently, various cavitand derivatives have been synthesized as host compounds for metal ion, anion recognition, and organic guests. We report that the new cavitand, for anions chemosensor was synthesized in an 39% yield. This structure was assigned on the basis of various spectroscopic studies.
