we synthesized bis(dithiobenzil) nickel complex derivatives with benzoin derivatives used as functional dye and photostabilizer. The structure of product is measured by 1H-NMR. We also measured the optical property and photostability of dyes with UV-Vis-IR spectroscopy. Bis(dithiobenzil) nickel complex derivatives synthesized showed high absorbance in near infrared ray and had gap of absorbance as different subsituents. When we mixed bis(dithiobenzil) nickel complex derivatives and cyanine dye having low photostability, Bis(dithiobenzil) nickel complex derivatives deacreased the photofading effect of cyanine dye.
