New life for thermal processes
The strategic problem of making oil refining more exhaustive consists of qualified refining of high-molecular-weight petroleum residual and distillate products (vacuum resids, asphalts, heavy gasoils from thermal processes and catalytic cracking) with production of the maximum possible amount of light, high-quality motor oils.
