Calculation of minimum miscibility pressure for gas condensate reservoirs
This work focuses on analytical calculation of MMP for gas condensate reservoirs. For the sake of simplicity, the method outlined by Wang [Y. Wang, Doctoral Dissertation, Stanford University, USA, 1998] and pseudo-components are used for calculating MMP. We evaluated this method using the Peng-Robinson EOS, Patel-Teja EOS, Patel-Teja-Vaiderrama EOS, and the Esmaeilzadeh-Roshanfekr EOS and compared it with the experimental data. The agreement between calculated MMPs and the experimental data confirm the validity of the model. Once the validity is checked, the MMP is calculated for condensates and injection gases containing CO2 and NGL fractions. The condensate and injection gas mixtures were selected from a gas field in Iran here referred to as SGR (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
