Imaging the molecular rovibrational coherence through time-gated, frequency-resolved coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering
The time-gated frequency-resolved detection of coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (TGFCARS) induced by femtosecond pulses allows the imaging of molecular coherences as a polarization interferogram in the time-frequency plane. We illustrate this for the rovibronic coherence of molecular iodine in the gas phase.
