Lifetime measurements and total relaxation cross-sections of some rovibrational levels of the BOu+ state of Te-2 using laser spectroscopy
The fluorescence lifetime of some rovibrational levels of the B0(u)(+) state of Te-2 has been measured using a delayed coincidence technique. By irradiation of a natural sample with selected multimode lines of a pulsed Ar ion laser, different isotopomer molecules of Te2 were excited. Zero-pressure radiative fluorescence lifetimes and total relaxation cross-sections were obtained. Coincidences and discrepancies with other reported values are discussed.
