Spin-orbit interactions and supersymmetry in two-component relativistic methods
The spin-orbit coupling effects are investigated for the Douglas-Kroll and infinite-order two-component relativistic hamiltonians. The infinite-order theory reproduce all important features of the four-component Dirac theory, including the supersymmetric pattern of energy level. The Douglas-Kroll method can not give the right values of the spin orbit splitting. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
