Controlled synthesis of CdS nanorods by a novel route
US nanorods were successfully synthesized through CS2 reacting with CdCl2 and ethylenediamine in tetradecylamine aqueous solution. The as-obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The size of US nanorods was controlled simply by varying the growth temperature.
