An effective TiO2 photocatalyst prepared under supercritical conditions
A novel porous TiO2 photocatalyst with higher surface area was prepared by sol-get method followed by removing solvent under supercritical conditions. This catalyst exhibited higher activity and stronger durability during photocatalytic degradation of phenol than that obtained via direct drying, possibly owing to the higher surface area and crystallization degree of anatase which exhibited higher quantum yield during photocatalysis.
