Ruthenium catalyzed deuterium labelling of alpha-carbon in primary alcohol and primary/secondary amine in D2O
Primary alcohols and primary/secondary amines are labelled with D atom at alpha-position regioselectively by means of deuterium oxide and ruthenium catalyst.
