Fabrication of magnetic luminescent nanocomposites via adsorption-precipitation of metal ions on sulfonated iron oxide nanoparticles
A novel magnetic luminescent nanocomposite has been fabricated by the adsorption of Cd-II ions on the sulfonated Fe3O4 nanoparticles and the subsequent precipitation with sodium sulfide. The adsorption isotherm of Cd-II ions on the sulfonated Fe-3(4)O nanoparticles was investigated, and the product was characterized by TEM, HRTEM, EDX, XRD, UV-vis, and PL.
