The aim of the investigations was to examine a published valuation rate on fuzzyfied cash flow calculation according to its applicability for estimating a process innovation in a chemical-technical field: Short-time calcination of gibbsite, alpha-Al(OH)3. It should be determined of decisions on research and development projects may be objectified by fuzzyfied cash flow calculations compared to usual calculation procedures.
