DESIGN MODELS FOR GAS-LIQUID REACTIONS BASED ON THE FILM THEORY .2. GAS-PHASE IN PLUG-FLOW AND LIQUID-PHASE COMPLETELY MIXED
A design model for gas-liquid reactions is developed based on the film theory and under conditions that the gas phase flows in plug and the liquid phase is mixed completely. An analytical solution of this system has been achieved. The mass transfer degree, the reaction conversion and the reactor capacity can be easily calculated by means of the analytical solutions. Therefore, this model can be used directly to design the gas-liquid reactors.
