Three-dimensionally ordered macroporous SiO2 membranes are prepared by the codeposition method using SiO2 colloidal particles as building blocks and polymethyl methacrylate as the templates. The pore size of ordered macroporous SiO2 membranes can be controlled by changing the volume ratio of templates to SiO2.
