Due to the lack of economic recycling methods most of the textile-plastics composites waste, i.e. polymer coated fabrics, lands up on dumps. The aim of the work presented was a screening and further development of appropriate methods for recycling of such materials without separation of the fibrous portion. Size reducing methods and agglomeration has been applied to PVC coated textiles (fabrics and non-wovens with natural and synthetic fibres) in labscale, medium size and production equipment.
