SEPARATION OF HYDROCARBONS USING N-METHYLMORPHOLINONE-3 AS A SELECTIVE SOLVENT
The selection of N-methylmorpholinone-3 as an efficient solvent for the extraction of arenes having a high group selectivity and a high dissolving capacity with respect to arenes is considered. The data of the liquid-liquid equilibrium in the ternary systems of key components consisting of N-methylmorpholinone-3 with hexane and benzene, with heptane and toluene, and with octane and m-xylene at 25 degrees C are given and discussed.
