Selectivity and capacity were determined for hydrocarbons in N-trialkyl-2, 4-dioxohexahydro-1, 3,5-triazins as selective solvents at different temperatures. Due to their good selectivity and capacity as well as their chemical and thermal stability N-trialkyl-2, 4-dioxohexahydro-1, 3,5-triazins are suitable solvents for extractive destillation and liquid-liquid extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons.
