The PARAK-process - the production of paraffin waxes and micro waxes with a C-number range from up 18 to 50 from scrap polyolefins will be presented. It is a careful thermal decomposition of polyolefins in combination with a destillativ fractionation to high value paraffin waxes and micro waxes. The quality of the mean products is comparable with the commercial products and better for special applications. A demonstration plant with a capacity of 20 000 t/y will be built at the location Webau in this time.
