Calculation of the hydrodynamic parameters of a low-pressure jet liquid distributor
The low-pressure jet liquid separator in packed heat-mass-exchange equipment must ensure sufficient, uniform, and maximally stable flow of liquid through the openings in the distributor plate with the jet energy required for overcoming the forces of the surface tension of the liquid in conversion of jet flow to film flow over the surfaces of the packing. The pressure of the liquid should be minimal since it determines the height of the distributor.
