Continuous flow hydrolysis of phosphate esters using membrane reactor containing cyclodextrins
Membranes of poly(oxa-p-phenylene-3,3-phtalido-p-phenykenxoxa-p-phenylenenexoxi-p-phe nylene) (PEEK-WC) containing beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) derivatives (O-octyloxycarbon,l P-CD and monotosyl beta-CD) have been prepared to investigate their catalytic behaviour towards the p-nitrophenyldiphenylphosphate (PNPDPP) hydrolysis. Membranes containing CD lead to very high reaction rate during the hydrolysis of PNPDPP. Best results, were obtained using monotosyl beta-CD 2.5 wt.% containing membrane at pH 8.
