Kinetic studies of fluorine atom abstraction by ground state atomic cesium, Cs(6(2)S(1/2)), using time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence [Cs(7(2)P(3/2)-6(2)S(1/2)), lambda=455.5nm] following pulsed irradiation
Absolute second-order rate data for fluorine atom abstraction by ground state atomic cesium, Cs(6(2)S(1/2)), with the molecules SF6, CF3H, and CF4 are reported for elevated temperatures using time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence [Cs(7(2)P(3/2) - 6(2)S(1/2)), lambda = 455.5 nm] following pulsed irradiation. The results are compared with previous measurements derived from time-resolved atomic resonance absorption spectroscopy in the ''single-shot mode.''
