Solvothermal synthesis of the ternary semiconductor AInS(2) (A = Na, K) nanocrystal at low temperature
Lamella and parallelogram thin flake NaInS2, KInS2 nanocrystals were prepared by the reaction between Na2S.9H(2)O or K2S and InCI3.4H(2)O via solvothermal method at low temperature. The result of electron diffraction (ED) analysis confirmed that lamella of NaInS2 nanocrystal grows along the directions perpendicular to the (0 0 1) zone axis. The reaction temperature played a key role in the formation of NaInS2 nanocrystal. Meanwhile, the process of NalnS(2) nanocrystal growth was discussed. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V.
