Bi3-2xCa2xFe5-x-yInyVxO12 crystals with the size of 20 x 20 x 15mm(3) were grown by TSSG technique. The optimized conditions to grow the crystal were obtained. The quality of the crystal was checked by X-ray powder diffraction pattern of samples from different sections of the grown crystal. Absorption coefficient of the crystal in near infrared region was measured. The relationship between magnetic susceptibility and temperature was given.
