Using thiosemicarbazide as starting material to synthesize CdS crystalline nanowhiskers via solvothermal route
Using thiosemicarbazide (NH2CSNHNH2) as starting material, we have successfully synthesized CdS crystalline nanowhiskers with typical length up to 12 mum and a width of 60 nm on average via a solvothermal route. Meanwhile, the effects of temperature, and reaction time were also discussed. The results revealed that the length of the CdS nanowires increased as the reaction time is lengthened.
