In multicomponent batch distillation, several main. cuts and sbp cuts are collected. A general model is proposed to determine the optimal recycling policy : the solution of the NLP problem gives the optimal proportions of the slop cuts to be re-added to each batch and the opimal reflux ratios (constant during the recovery of a given cut, but perhaps varying from one cut to another).
