New solutions for construction of pressure-driven membrane equipment
This paper is devoted to the design and construction of cartridge microfilter housings and spiral-wound module units, for dead-end and cross flow filtration. These products have smaller dimensions than prior units, but equal capacities. In the units developed, the modules have no connection with the manifolds. Moreover, water collecting and distributing manifolds as autonomous devices are also missing. The advantages of the cartridge microfilter housings and the spiral-wound module unit which will be described should lead to their commercialization.
