Kinetics of oxidation of phosphinic, phenylphosphinic and phosphorous acid by benzyltrimethylammonium chlorobromate
The oxidation of lower phosphorus oxyacids by benzyltrimethylammonium chlorobromate (BTMACB) proceeds by a mechanism involving a hydride-ion transfer from oxyacids to the oxidant in the rate-determining step.
