Hydrogen spillover through the gas phase. Some kinetic aspects
The deactivation kinetics of spillover hydrogen in the gas phase was investigated by systematic variation of the distance between catalyst and reaction compartment. It turned out to be a first-order reaction. Glass surfaces strongly accelerate the deactivation.
