The Observation of SERS of Water in a Wide Potential Range from the Ag/NaClO4 System
The surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of water adsorbed at silver electrodes in a wide potential range from -0.5 to -2.0 V was observed for the first time in a 8 M NaClO4 solution. The significant changes in the SERS frequency and intensity at around -1.1 V may be due to orientation change of the adsorbed water.
