The Temperature-Dependence of the Tafel Slope for Parallel Electrochemical Reactions
The differences in transfer coefficients, energies of activations and preexponentials of two parallel electrochemical reactions contributing to the summary reaction, can result in the temperature-independent apparent Tafel slope. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data for the temperature dependence of the Tafel slope for oxygen evolution reaction on platinum.
