Investigations on Bioanalytical Chemistry .7. Reaction-Mechanism of the Cu(II)-Adenine System in Na2Hpo4 Plus Citric-Acid Buffer
The adsorption characteristics of the adenine complex with Cu(II) on a hanging mercury drop electrode in 0.2 mol dm(-3) Na2HPO4-citric acid buffer (pH = 8.0) were discussed. The composition of the complex in the solution and on the surface of the electrode as well as the conditional stability constant of the complex were tested. The mechanism of the electrode reaction was investigated.
