Fast Time-Resolved Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy for Investigations Under Nonstationary Conditions
A new experimental technique for fast electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), compatible with both the frequency domain and the time domain measurement techniques, is described. It can be successfully applied for time-resolved EIS measurements under nonstationary conditions. Impedance spectra obtained in situ during the current relaxation in a potential step experiment, using Pt electrode in Fe2+/Fe3+ redox electrolyte, are presented as an application example.
