Thermoelectrochemical Impedance (TEC) .2. Validation for an Electrochemical Mass Transport-Controlled System by Stationary and Dynamic Investigations
Thermal gradient effects on mass transport-controlled system have been investigated. Results have been analyzed under accurate experimental conditions to determine the thermal gradient. They show that this gradient leads to a limiting diffusion current dependence as it was written by Marchiano and Arvia. Electrochim. Acta 13, 1657 (1968), 14, 741 (1968). Il=0.77 nFD(2/3)C*[alpha(0)(3/4)C*(3/4)/Sc-1/4 +/- beta(0)(3/4)Delta T-3/4/Pr-1/4](1/3) (g/4v(2/3))(1/4)d(7/4). This equation is proved true thanks to classical impedance and thermoelectrochemical transfer functions. By this way, those functions are shown to be efficient.
