Difference of the Electrochemical Surface Behavior of Lithium/Carbon Intercalation Electrodes in Different Charge/Discharge Cycles
The electrochemical behaviour of LiCn based on turbostratic carbon was investigated by means of cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. The process of the film formation seems to be a more complex reaction than just an irreversible reduction of the electrolyte on the electrode surface. The cyclic voltammograms and impedance spectra clearly show the differences in the electrochemical behaviour of the electrode before and after the film formation.
