Electrosynthesis of Different Electronic Conducting Polymer-Films Doped with an Iron-Substituted Heteropolytungstate - Choice of the Immobilization Matrix the Most Suitable for the Electrocatalytic Reduction of Nitrite Ions
Attempts to incorporate an iron-substituted heteropolytungstate [(H2O)(FePW11O39)-P-III](4) in different electronic conducting polymers have shown that this anion could be efficiently retained in a poly(N-methylpyrrole) film. An electrode modified by such a film was found to be electrochemically stable and the most suitable to achieve the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrite ions.
