Preparation and characterization of a new solvent-free polymer electrolyte based on spiroketal structure
Solvent-free solid polymer electrolytes based on spiropolymers were prepared and their properties were confirmed by conductance, differential scanning calorimetry, and X-ray diffraction measurements. The spiropolymer was synthesized from the bicyclic diketone and pentaerythritol. The spiro-polyketal (SP) dissolves lithium perchlorate and the conductivity of the (SP) 1.5(LiClO4)1 complex is 4.24 x 10(-5) S cm(-1) at 30 degreesC and 3.83 x 10(-4) S cm(-1) at 60 degreesC.
