Poisoning of proton exchange membrane fuel cell cathode by CO in the anode fuel
CO in the fuel for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell can transport through the membrane to the cathode side. Such CO migration causes the cathode to be seriously poisoned, resulting in a large decline in cathode performance.
