PC/PMMA계 블렌드의 기체투과성
Gas Transport Properties in PC/PMMA Blends
초록
폴리카보네이트와 폴리메타크릴산메틸과의 블렌드를 제조하고 시차주사열량분석계, 구름점 및 기체투과도를 측정하여 상용성을 확인하였다. 블렌드는 테트라히드로푸란을 용매로 써서 용액주조하였고, 이들은 전 조성에 걸쳐 상용성을 보임을 알았다. 헬륨, 수소, 산소, 질소, 알곤 및 탄산가스에 대한 투과도는 35도, 1 내지 2 기압하에서 측정하였다. 투과계수들은 일반적인 블렌드계에서 볼 수 있는바와는 달리 반대수 함수에 의한 가감법칙으로부터 약간의 양(+)의 편차를 나타내었고, 이러한 결과들을 자유부피 모델로서 해석한 결과 비교적 잘 일치하였다.
The miscibility of bisphenol-A type polycarbonate, PC, with poly (methyl methacrylate) PMMA, has been examined using differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) , cloud point determination, and gas permeation. It was founded that PC/PMMA films casted from tetrahydrofuran solution exhibit single-phase structure over the entire range of blend composition. The permeability, solubility, and diffusivity for He, H2, O2, N2, Ar and CO2 were measured at 35℃ under 1 to 2 atmosphere. Gas permeability coefficients were slightly higher than those calculated from the semi-logarithmic additivity rule. These results were rationalized in terms of free volume theory.
