Polyacrylonitrile Blends with Polyurethane Ionomers and Nonionomers
초록
폴리아크릴로니트릴(PAN)과 폴리우레탄(PU) ionomer 및 nonionomer와의 용액(DMF) blend를 제조하였다. PU anionomer(PUAn) 및 PU nonionomer(PUNo) blend에서는 입자분산형의 심한 상분리를 보인 반면, PU cationomer(PUCa) blend는 균일한 morphology를 보였다. PUCa blend에서 PU 및 PAN의 tan δ peak는 각각 저온 및 고온 쪽으로 이동하였으며, 인장강도는 additivity rule에 대하여 상당한 positive deviation을 보였으며, 특히 70/30(PAN/PUCa by wt)에서 PAN의 강도 보다 약 2.5배 증가하였다. 이러한 상승효과는 PUCa의 양이온과 PAN의 음이온에 의한 이온짝 상호작용에 의한 깃으로 판단하였다.
Blends of polyacrylonitrile(PAN) with different types of ionic and nonionic polyurethane(PU) were prepared in N,N'-dimethylformamide. Blends of PU anionomer and nonionomer showed large phase separation with spherical domains. On the contrary, PU cationomer blends showed a homogeneous morphology. In PU cationomer blends, the tan δ peak, examined by a rheovibron, of PU and PAN moved toward lower and higher temperatures respectively. In addition, the tensile strength of PU cationomer blend increased by about 2.5 times at 70/30(PAN/PUCa by wt), which was thought to be due to the ion pair interactions between PU cations and PAN anions.
